First, celebrate life and don’t let that get in the way.

But there are options, depending on whether you want to look bigger right now in a specific dress or whether you want to change your appearance for the long term.  I’ll tell you right now that I’ve never had surgery, and I’m not crazy about implants, although I have a friend who is on her third set and loves them (“just had a tire change” she told me), so I'm not listing implants as an option.

Silicone inserts

These are readily available online and in department stores in the lingerie section.  They will generally add a cup size and if you wear a push-up bra, with the insert at an angle in the outer corner, you’ll almost always create some cleavage.  Or you can put them directly underneath your breasts to push them up, while adding volume.  I am a regular use of silicone inserts, and love what they do for me.

Noogleberry

The Noogleberry is a pair of clear plastic cups that you place over your breasts and it works to expand your breasts through stretching them.  It has a hand-operated vacuum pump that pulls your breasts up into the cups.  The idea is that by stretching the breast tissue, new cells are created that fill in the gaps.  I’ve read the reports of many, many women who have successfully used the Noogleberry.  Some used it all day (or night) for weeks and reported permanent breast enlargement.  Others reported only temporary swelling that went down after they stopped noogling. Still others reported that their skin was bruised and they stopped using it.

I’ve had my Noogleberry for years, and here’s my story:  The first few times I used it, I had an ugly purple ring around my breasts, but I learned the right level of vacuum to stretch without bruising.  Noogleberry sells silicone pads that fit onto the cups and they help reduce the potential of bruising.  I figured out that using the maximum level of vacuum that my breasts will handle without bruising, continuously, for 15-30 minutes, will add a full cup size to my breasts that will last six to twelve hours.  So, for me, that means if I noogle just before I get dressed for a gala, I don’t need silicone inserts, and if I have a dress where it just isn’t possible to wear a bra, I can fill it out (if it’s truly the right size).  So at this point I use the Noogleberry for maybe 5 or 6 events each year, and I love it.

Breast Fat Transfer

This is a surgical breast enhancement that involves harvesting from somewhere else on your body (flanks, abdomen, etc.) and inserting it into your breasts.  I have researched numerous doctors who perform this procedure, and I’ve read the stories of many women who have undergone the procedure.  Women generally report a permanent increase of a cup size.  Some have the procedure performed a second time to get more of an increase.  There are many doctors who perform this procedure.  To me, using your own fat to reshape your body makes sense, as long as you can tolerate the procedure.  But you have to really want a permanent change, because there is pain involved, and it’s expensive….
